Jewett City Savings Bank needed to refresh their website to properly bring their brand into alignment, which had continued to transform since their last redesign in 2017. One identified problem was that customers needed easier access to many pages quickly, without needing to dig to find the location they were seeking.
Increasing website accessibility was also a priority, while addressing concerns with the prior site, which relied on plugins that sometimes caused issues for visitors.
After sitemap and design wireframes were completed, I led a small team of 3 to implement the website production process to populate a wordpress site with 60+ pages within 3.5 weeks.
The website received a Bank Standard of Excellence Award, by the Web Marketing Association’s 2023 webawards (a long established, annual award competition dedicated to naming the best sites in 96 industries).
Initial tests conducted by SiteImprove reflected a score of 90.8 out of 100 on accessibility.
