The Village Bank, heavily invested in their customers, caught wind of a need for parents within their community wanting additional tools and resources to help their teens learn to control their finances well.
The bank saw an opportunity to create an account crafted specifically for teens, as a unique additional value for new and existing customers. Going through an iterative process to name the service & campaign, we landed on Compass Money Management.
Creating 8 concepts, I narrowed the direction to a visual strategy that focused on the concept of navigating unknown territory. I included a backdrop of a topical map with a compass to create a sense of wonder and exploration. This symbolism was paired with a teen showing off his new Village Bank Compass debit card. These pieces were versatile enough to work into a variety of different print, online, and video assets.
